The record for marine isotopic stage 11
Article Abstract:
Ice core data from the Antarctic Vostok core, which is used to reconstruct a complete atmospheric carbon dioxide record for marine isotopic stage 11 (MIS 11) is presented. The record indicates that the value for carbon dioxide throughout the interglacial period are close to the earth's pre-industrial levels and that both solar energy and carbon dioxide may have helped to make MIS 11 exceptionally long.

Eight glacial cycles from an Antarctic ice core
Article Abstract:
The recovery of a deep ice core from Dome C, Antarctica, that provides a climate record for t5he past 74,000 years is recorded. The transition from glacial to interglacial conditions resembles the transition into the present interglacial period in terms of the magnitude of change in temperatures and green houses, but there are significant differences in the patterns of change.

Constraints on hydrothermal processes and water exchange in Lake Vostok from helium isotopes
Article Abstract:
Research is presented describing helium isotope measurements from the deep, ice-core section of Lake Vostok, which show how a helium source with a radiogenic isotope signature normally found in an old continental province, enriches the accreted ice. Lake Vostok is a subglacial lake in Antarctica.
