Tough road to LHC is worth taking
Article Abstract:
The officials of the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN), Geneva are trying to get collaborators to meet the construction costs of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). CERN is negotiating with the US Department of Energy to decide the amount of financial support from the US government. The budgetary support from the US will largely depend upon the outcome of presidential elections in Nov 1996.
