Article Abstract:
There is a renewal of investment acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties in Scotland. Office spaces in Edinburgh and Glasgow such as the Apex, the Fitzpatrick House and the 200 St Vincent Street building have recently been purchased by different investors. This pattern reflects the confidence of investors for a medium-term growth in the value of office buildings. Rental growth is expected as a result of the lack ofany new construction and the demand for office spaces for different government agencies. On the other hand, investments in retail properties remain active despite the recession. Investors are enthusiastic about the retail sector because of its extreme liquity and diversity, and the prevalence of quality products.

The Oceans Act: legislation to review federal ocean policy
Article Abstract:
The US's first review of ocean policy took place in 1969, leading to the creation of the Coastal Zone Management Act and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Since then, the oceans have become increasingly threatened by technological improvements and population growth and some laws have failed to protect the marine environment. The number of endangered or threatened marine species rose from 20 to 42 between 1975 and 1999, with more than one third of marine fisheries either overfished or close to overfished. A cohesive framework is needed to coordinate and guide policy so that oceans are managed effectively in the 21st century.

Tyrannosaurs suffered from gout
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the bones of Tyrannosaurus rex indicates that this dinosaur sometimes fell victim to gout. It is not possible to confirm the presence of gout in Tyrannosaurus rex by using modern methods of clinical recognition, but macroscopic and radiological appearance of bones give a strong indication of the presence of gout. Most significantly, bone specimens show erosions which are uniformly excavated in nature, a characteristic of gout. These are spheriod lesions with overhanging edges, which are common in gout but not often seen in other diseases.
