Article Abstract:
To prevent scientific fraud, The Royal College of Physicians plans to declare an independent body to systematize medical research to safeguard senior academicians who enter their names on research papers for which they hardly have any direct involvement. This practice, known as gift authorship, must be closed according to some advisors. For investigating fraud cases, strict procedures are being installed by the Medical Research Council.
