Why wildlife matters in Sudan
Article Abstract:
Wildlife is important to Sudan because the people depend on natural resources for energy, water, and food. Conflict in Sudan and in surrounding regions has led people to believe that wildlife in that area is vanishing, only to learn that it can still be conserved. The role of wildlife conservation in keeping the peace in Sudan is discussed.
