Aspects of breeding biology and social organization in the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher
Article Abstract:
A two-year study of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers in southwestern Oklahoma revealed minimal extra-pair copulations in their mating patterns and the adults' feeding of nestlings and aggressive responses to predators. Nest building, incubation and brooding of young were tasks managed solely by female Flycatchers.

Research examining the behavior of monk parakeets residing in Hyde Park in Chicago, United States, is presented. Particular attention is given to behavior exhibiting tendencies of vigilance, as well as to the birds' diet and flock sizes.
