Effect of inbreeding and heritability of sperm competition in the bulb mite Rhizoglyphus robini
Article Abstract:
The heritability value for sperm competition success observed in the bulb mite Rhizoglyphus robini, within the range of heritability values for life-history traits under strong directional selection is reported. The results reveal that males produced by sib-mating (F=0.25) have a significant lower sperm competition success than outbred males.

Yield stability in Coffea canephora from diallel mating design monitored for 14 years
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Coffea canephora. The authors have investigated the genetic parameters of agronomic traits in this species in a triangular and partial diallels with different number of parents, and they report the results.
