Evidence for multiple retroposition events and gene evolution in the ADP/ATP translocase gene family in Ranid frogs
Article Abstract:
A phylogenetic analysis of partial ADP/ATP translocase gene (Aat) sequences was conducted on 11 species of Ranid frogs (Amphibia: Ranidae) to estimate the number and time of the duplication events. The numbers of synonymous and nonsynonymous nucleotide substitutions in the total sequence, and at each amino acid site are analyzed.

Evolution of duplicate gene expression in polyploid and hybrid plants
Article Abstract:
The effect of hybridization on gene expression is more pronounced than polyploidy and can also be correlated with the phenotypic expression.
