Malignant glioma: genetics and biology of a grave matter
Article Abstract:
In this review the biology of the malignant brain tumors and its bearing in the development of a specific and an effective therapy are discussed. Data on histopathologic and genetic lesions of the lower-grade as well as highly aggressive glioma, glioblastoma are presented.

Identification of a PTEN-regulated STAT3 brain tumor suppressor pathway
Article Abstract:
The article discusses the identification and the significant functions of a PTEN-regulated STAT3 brain tumor suppressor pathway. The STAT3 pathway is found to behave differently in people with different genetic backgrounds and hence can be easily used for the development of a treatment for glioblastoma.
