PIKE: a nuclear GTPase that enhances P13kinase activity and is regulated by protein 4.1N
Article Abstract:
Results show that two-hybrid analysis reveals interactions of erythrocyte membrane cytoskeleton protein 4.1N, the nuclear mitotic apparatus protein, and nuclear GTPase that binds and activates nuclear P13Kinase. The protein involved in the above processes is called phosphoinositide kinase enhancer (PIKE).

Inositol pyrophosphatases mediate chemotaxis in Dictyostelium via pleckstrin homology domain-PtdIns(3,4,5)P(sub)3 interactions
Article Abstract:
Research shows physiologic regulation of chemotaxis by diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate mediated by its competition with pleckstrin homology domain-PtdIns(3,4,5)P(sub)3 in Dictyostelium. Data indicate that chemotaxis is mediated by membrane translocation of PH domain-containing proteins.
