Mapping the d (sub)1 and d (sub)2 dwarfing genes and the purple foliage color locus P in pearl millet
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on d (sub)1 and d (sub)2 dwarfing genes and P purple foliage color gene from pearl millet. The authors report that these genes have been placed on the restriction fragment length polymorphism-based molecular marker linkage map of this pearl millet, and the results demonstrate relatively loose genetic linkage between d (sub)2 and P.
