Microsatellite Variation in Japanese and Asian Horses and Their Phylogenetic Relationship Using a European Horse Outgroup
Article Abstract:
Genetic research indicates that Japanese horses originated from Mongolian horse populations that migrated via the Korean Peninsula. Genetic relationships between Asian and Japanese horses can be estimated by microsatellite polymorphism data.

The nucleotide sequences of intron 6 were determined for two chimpanzee species to assess gene diversity among ABO blood group genes. Results are presented.
