Phylogeography and divergence in the chloroplast genome of Western Australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum)
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Western Australian sandalwood spread around Western Australia across different regions. The authors have investigated the diversity and phylogeographic patterns within the chloroplast genome of this sandalwood via the use of restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis of different populations, and they report that chloroplast genome's phylogeographic pattern is congruent with that detected in nuclear genome.

Genetic differentiation between mallee and tree forms in the Eucalyptus loxophleba complex
Article Abstract:
Study using RFLP of genetic differentiation between tree and mallee forms in the Eucalyptus loxophleba complex is discussed. The diversity in the taxa was high and similar to that seen in other eucalypt species. The analysis did not support calling E. gratiae a separate species
