Solution structure of the E. coli 70S ribosome at 11.5 Angstroms resolution
Article Abstract:
Researchers used 11.5 Angstrom cryo-electron microscopy to map the E. coli 70S ribosome. This technique allows the ribosome to be visualized without the need for crystallization.

Architecture of the protein-conducting channel associated with the translating 80S ribosome
Article Abstract:
Electron microscopic analysis reveals that yeast ribosome-nascent chain containing complexes and associated trimeric Sec61 complex bind to the protein-conducting channel of translating 80S ribosome. A model is proposed for the two functional states of the translating ribosome-channel complex.

Structure of the 80S ribosome from Saccharomyces cerevisiae--tRNA-ribosome and subunit-subunit interactions
Article Abstract:
Electron microscopic analysis reveals that the 80S ribosome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae consists of intersubunit bridges with contacts between the ribosome and the P site-bound peptidyl-tRNA at the molecular level.
