Testing for segregation distortion in genetic scoring data from backcross or doubled haploid populations
Article Abstract:
A mathematically new combined statistical test is derived for segregation distortion that requires genetic scoring data for a single linkage group. Backcross or doubled haploid populations are commonly generated in plant breeding programmers and plant genetics experiments.

Nuclear mitochondrial pseudogenes as molecular outgroups for phylogenetically isolated taxa: A case study in Sphenodon
Article Abstract:
Sphenodon is an extreme case of phylogenetic isolation. A phylogenetic analysis is conducted to determine the polarity of evolution among the taxa.
