A Manifesto for Information Management Research
Article Abstract:
Information Management should be viewed as an independent subject, rather than the more recent sub-divisions which are computer science and engineering or strategic management and organisational behaviour. Research in the field has become questionable, and needs to be readdressed in terms of the topics that are covered, the publication and communication of the results, the research approaches adopted, the quality and relevance of research and cross-cultural integration.
