Paula Monet, a former beauty therapist, has developed a line of natural sun-screen and skin care products. These products are advertised as providing excellent protection without chemicals. Although her business appears to be doing well, Monet has been criticized for her lack of industry knowledge. Sales have increased from A$250,000 during 1997-98 to almost A$1 million for 1999.
