An empirical investigation into factors relating to the adoption of executive information systems: an analysis of EIS for collaboration and decision support
Article Abstract:
A study of the organizational adoption of Executive Information Systems (EIS) as a collaborative or decision-making tool suggest that environmental condition play an important role in the transition of EIS from a collaborative to a decision making tool. The size of an organization's information systems is a determining factor in the use of the EIS as a decision making tool and organizational efforts to institutionalize EIS as a decision tool.

An integrated decision methodology for designing and operating an air-express courier's distribution network
Article Abstract:
A multiyear distribution network has been designed for air express courier DHL in Hong Kong, using an integrated decision method. It is shown that the network also improves coverage and reliability.
