Aussie tax is on auto
Article Abstract:
Australia and the US having different ways they treat tax reform. For example, politicians in the US tend not to follow lockstep with the party line, which enables the passage of sometimes friendly tax legislation. In fact, it is part of US history to be malevolent towards constraining taxation. However, in Australia, the politics and history does not indicate a strong willingness to make widespread changes to the tax system.

Every country in the world seems to be promoting free trade, while at the same time protecting itself. Australians go on shopping sprees in the United States because many items are considerably cheaper there than in Australia. Australia, in its effort to protect the automobile industry, has driven up automobile costs to the extent that they are priced nearly three times as much as American cars.

One way to see the social and cultural differences between Australia and the United States is to look at the children of each country. Children in the United States seem to have more activities than their Australian counterparts, and the Catholic schools are more expensive in the United States than they are in Australia.
