Can Foodini's work magic for Chevron?
Article Abstract:
Marinated beets didn't sell, but Chevron hopes some other menu choices will. The oil giant has been experimenting with take-home gourmet food and wine at a handful of gas stations to see whether it can make more of a profit with Foodini than it does on gasoline. It's a gamble when you consider food sitting so close to gasoline isn't all that appetizing. Two of the "stores" are attached to stations in California, two in Arizona with a third being built.
