Claire's Stores holds stake totaling 11.8% in retailer Gadzooks

Claire's Stores Inc. announced that it now has a 11.8% share of Gadzooks Inc. Glenn Canary, a spokesman for Claire's, said that the company sees its share as a good investment. Claire's specializes in women's fashion accessories and runs approximately 1,900 stores. Gadzooks, which is based in Texas, has approximately 35 stores. Claire's currently holds 1,042,000 common shares in Gadzooks and plans to acquire more.
