Clinton sees GOP budget compromise

Pres. Clinton expects the Republican Congress to reach its goal of balancing the federal budget by FY 2002. In remarks at a news conference in Washington, D.C., Clinton said reductions in education, health and environmental programs would have to be adjusted for the Republican plan to earn his cooperation.
