Pres Clinton's national service plan would allow college students to receive $5,000 in school grants for each year they work in public service jobs. The students would receive an $8,500 stipend to live on. Clinton also unveiled his plan to reform the student loan program.

Health-care reform: Clinton plan cost estimated
Article Abstract:
Government economists estimate that Pres Clinton's new health-care reform plan would require an additional $100 billion to $150,000 billion per year in funds. The plan will be submitted to Congress in mid-June and will probably include the use of health security cards.
