Collaborating to compete: benchmarking through regional partnerships
Article Abstract:
An approach to benchmarking utilizing structured partnerships is discussed, based on experience in the North East region of England. A process model is presented that uses different kinds of benchmarking to help a company move from diagnosis of needs to adoption of better practices and continuous improvement, facilitated by a local network of support organizations.
