Crackdown on drug labels

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) continues to reform its regulations in the health-care and over-the-counter drugs and supplements business as it has proposed a new system of product labelling that would include the names of manufacturer and distributor. Although Australian manufacturers support the move, Australian Self-Medication Industry (ASMI) and Complementary Healthcare Council (CHC) oppose TGA's proposals.
