Performance monitoring in R&D projects
Article Abstract:
A model for integrated project performance evaluation uses tools including a new graphic tool called PACT which allows the visualization of progress, cost and time. Application of the model to the Indian guided missile program provides managers with information on the status of each activity in terms of progress and cost. PACT also provides insight on project trends and signals the need for corrective measures.
