Extending continuous improvement to the new product development process
Article Abstract:
Managers who are planning to adopt continuous improvement (CI) to their product development process need to understand first the nature and behavior of CI to ensure a successful implementation. Managers also need to determine possible problems that may be encountered during the implementation and the steps that can be undertaken to prevent such problems. Formulation of supporting measures that will guarantee the smooth implementation of CI is also important.
