Five New Models Added to the Sanyo Range

Sanyo has a number of office dictation machines on the market. The TRC 7100 dictates, transcribes and is a minicassette. The TRC 7100 has a solenoid transport control, microphone-speaker switch, and a quick erase capability. The TRC 7171 minicasette's sole function is transcription. The TRC 9100 has remote control. The standard cassette has cueing. The TRC 9010 is a standard cassette with extra functions including solenoid transport controls, headphones, and cueing functions. The TRC 1550 is designed to be hand-held and comes with a built-in microphone, pause and stop functions. It is powered by a battery.

Raltone International, Melbourne, Australia, has announced a series of Olympus dictating machines. The Pearlcorder C100 records data from portable computers, while Pearlcorder S910 offers 'voice actuated recording' by which recording is stopped and started by the presence or absence of sounds of selected intensity. The Pearlcorder L200 is described as the world's lightest. The DT100 has special features such as end of tape alarm and conference recording selection.
