Research on management processes in the manufacturing industry shows that human resources play a significant role in business performance. Education and training are crucial to effecting improvement through employee input. This leads to identification of problem areas, development of solutions, improvement of operations and reduction of company production costs.

Quality culture in the construction industry
Article Abstract:
Total quality management can be successfully deployed in the construction industry despite its complex nature. Although the industry consists of a wide range of professions and organizations, all are focused on producing a quality project. Quality management processes should therefore be implemented not to single entities but across the entire supply chain.
