Lotus accepts sweetened IBM offer

Lotus Development Corp agreed on Jun 11, 1995, to a $ 3.5 billion takeover by IBM that will pay $64 per share for Lotus's outstanding stock. The deal represents a $4 per increase from IBM's original offer on Jun 5, 1995. The acquisition of Lotus makes IBM a leader in the groupware market.

France accepts EC-U.S. oilseed pact
