Mexico announces details of financial support program to assist in transition to new administration

The Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit announces an expanded financial assistance program fueled by contributions from the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. The program, slated to be installed with the new administration of Vincente Fox, seeks to expand credit lines, reduce the servicing costs for public debts and change Mexico's relationship with the International Monetary Fund.
