Military budget set at $263.4 billion

Pres Clinton made public Mar 27, 1993, his proposed defense budget for the 1994 fiscal year. The $263.4 billion budget was around $10 billion less than was authorized for the 1993 fiscal year, and about $12 billion less than the previous administration had planned to spend.
