More women accuse Sen. Packwood

Twenty-three females, including employees, lobbyists and campaign workers, have accused Sen Packwood of sexual harassment since Nov 1992. The Senate Ethics Committee has decided that the sexual history of witnesses cannot be used as evidence during the hearings.

Joint Chiefs testify on sex bias

Four members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff provided testimony on the sexual harassment of female military personnel. Aviators had given the Defense Dept rolls of film on the sexual abuse of a teenager during the 1991 Tailhook Assn convention.

Packwood has been accused of sexually harassing 10 women, most of whom were former employees or coworkers of Packwood. The women said Packwood had tried to fondle or kiss them.
