Most Funds Slip Further in November
Article Abstract:
Poor performance figures in November have not helped major public commodity funds. Fifty-six of sixty-eight funds showed up negatively in November. Of these, only seven fell more than ten per cent. The average drop was four per cent. Harvest funds had the leading performance, increasing more than nine per cent. The Major Trend Futures Fund, which did quite well in October experienced the worst losses of November, with a fifteen per cent decrease. Prudential Bache's Chancellor funds also had high losses. Harvest funds are up about forty per cent for the year. The performance of other funds is analyzed, and tables of the best and worst unit values for the month, since the beginning of the year, and distribution statistics are featured.

Dishonesty is in most policies
Article Abstract:
Property insurance policies do not provide coverage for damages caused by employee vandalism unless otherwise specified. This is due to dishonesty clauses in the policies directed against criminal acts committed by company personnel. Jim Marshall of Silver Insurance Management Consultants of St Petersburg, FL, says that companies should protect themselves from possible losses by removing the dishonesty clauses from their insurance policies.
