Topics include efforts by the Mexican trucking industry to open US borders, and a US Senate vote for strict safety standards for Mexican trucks operating in the US; Republican support of presidential fast-track trade negotiating authority; Trade Adjustment Assistance legislation, for workers who lose jobs due to company relocation; anti-dumping laws as they apply to Free Trade Area of the Americas negotiations; and a call by Canada to create a common civil aviation zone among the US, Canada, and Mexico.
