Attacks in Bosnian cities punctuate uneasy peace
Article Abstract:
There were minor clashes in Mostar and Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina from Jan 1-9, 1996, but none were significant enough to threaten the peace treaty. NATO's 60,000-strong peacekeeping force continued to deploy into the region. Serbs reportedly destroyed evidence of a mass grave in Ljubija.
