A recent survey of corporate chiefs asked about their most admired peers. Results overwhelmingly placed Don Argus, chief executive officer at National Australia Bank, on top. Other lauded individuals were Reg Clairs of Woolworths, Rupert Murdoch of News Corporation, and Frank Blount of Telstra. Qualities most admired were innovation, strength of leadership, and customer satisfaction.
