Passion beats planning, limiting scope is stupid, women rule...
Article Abstract:
Management expert Tom Peters extols the benefits reaped from project management. Peters is the author of 'In Search of Excellence' and his latest book 'The Circle of Innovation: You Can't Shrink Your Way to Greatness,' discusses how every job should be turned into a project. Peters talks about passion as an organizing force and dares management to discover the passion in the common individual. Peters believes that every person should consider a career as an enterpreneurial experience and as a project that should be accomplished.

Project management for Year 2000 projects
Article Abstract:
The year 2000 problem in computers may occur when computer chips programmed before 1997 will not be able to read the year 2000 as it is. Computers and computer chips developed before 1997 have been programmed to use only a 2-digit sequence instead of the 4-digit year sequence due to storage costs. However, such a problem may be easily remediated before its onset on year 2000 with the right time and resources. Remediation can be done through encapsulation, windowing, date expansion and bridging techniques.
