U.S. confirms probe of Nasdaq pricing

Several large securities dealers are being investigated by the Justice Dept on allegations that price fixing inflated the price spreads on stocks sold on the Nasdaq stock exchange. A district court dismissed a class-action suit on similar charges, but investors say they will refile their claim.
