Patchwork Ernst and Young seeks global unity
Article Abstract:
The first priority for Ernst and Young chief executive Brian Schwartz was to integrate his Australian offices. Schwartz commented that the company has completed a three-year plan which allows for more than 20% annual growth. Internationally, during 1997-98 the accounting firm had a 20% rise in fees after a 17.4% increase during 1996-97. Ernst and Young continues to place a high priority on the recruitment of graduates and acquisition of firms.
