Eurobond financing bargains and the clientele hypothesis
Article Abstract:
Some 111 Eurobonds and 173 domestic bonds issued during 1977-83 are studied to show that the bought deal, pre-placement gray market trading and rebates could have affected the higher-than-anticipated Eurobond financing returns. The substantially high Eurobond returns during 1975-85 may be accounted for by market imperfections, according to Kim and Stulz's clientele hypothesis. Further investigations find that this hypothesis cannot, however, be used to account for the largest abnormal returns.

The role of quality of life in business (re)location decisions
Article Abstract:
A survey of companies that have relocated, expanded or began in Colorado within the most recent five-year period was conducted to determine quality of life (QOL) factors that conditioned business site decisions. Results showed that of the domains defined by government incentives, labor, proximity to publics, operating costs and QOL, elements associated with QOL were ranked behind labor and cost issues.
