The problems faced by the Australian companies in not meeting the expectations of the increasingly dissatisfied and insecure consumer is discussed. According to the 2003 Eye on Australia survey, 65% of respondents donEt trust most big Australian companies, 69% respondents think most big companies lack morals and ethics in their advertising. The terrorist bombing attack in Bali has changed the attitude and emotions of Australians.
