So easy to buy, such a struggle to return
Article Abstract:
Most online retailers give shoppers 30 days to return products, but some consumers find gathering together the receipts, boxing up the merchandise, and shlepping it to the post office not worth the hassle for low priced items. Some vendors require a Return Merchandise Authorization number from the customer service phone center. Often consumers must pay for the shipping themselves, and the retailer may charge a restocking fee on some items.
