Super's ho-hum tax cut
Article Abstract:
The legislation passed on the marginal cutting of the super contribution surcharge for higher income earners is discussed. Relatively few members of the current workforce in Australia would enjoy large increases in their retirement savings from the surcharge cut and the small effect of the surcharge reduction emphasizes the need for fund members to concentrate on finding super funds with reasonable fees and solid returns.
