The Impact of Profit Sharing on the Performance of Financial Services Firms
Article Abstract:
Profit-sharing plans were found to improve profitability for firms that adopted them relative to both their own previous profitability performance and to firms that did not adopt profit-sharing plans. Plans were also found to typically have a more positive, long-term impact on external profit drivers than on internal ones.
