The borgs are loose and coming for you
Article Abstract:
At Internet World, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, San Jose, CA, fashion models walked the runway wearing the latest in electronic gear. Among the entries: 2-pound computers with wireless Internet connection, heads-up display, and one-handed Twiddler keyboard; sensors for vital signs incorporated in clothing, GPS equipment incorporated in a backpack, and a wristwatch cell phone. Researchers there, who'd adopted the 'wearable' as their primary computer, appeared distracted, responding to images on their eyeglass' displays, while conversing with other convention goers.
