The U.S. is hoping that a regime change in Iraq will stabilize its foreign oil supplies, despite claims by the Bush administration that the war's purpose will be to fight terrorism. Oil prices are expected to fall once the crisis is over, and rebuilding plans include the opening of Iraq's oil fields.
