The eBay of programmers
Article Abstract:
Ian Ippolito created Rent A Coder in 2001, with the idea of helping supplicants to find qualified software developers to take on their jobs and the site, which is like eBay for software projects, has since then attracted 45,000 buyers, who posted projects and many coders around the world offered to take on work. The posting of a project on Rent A Coder and bidding on it are free and once the work gets assigned the buyer puts the project cost and when the programming is done the developer gets paid.
