Confusion over employer superannuation agreement obligations could hamper the Australian government's plan to mandate super fund choices for employees. Although the plan absolves employers from being liable for super fund compliance actions, a recent court case awarded A$75,000 to a deceased employee's family upon discovering coverage should have been provided.
