Chinese Foreign Trade Minister Wu Yi and US Trade Rep Mickey Kantor signed several trade agreements on Mar 12, 1995, including an 8-item pact that sets terms for China's compliance with opening its markets to US goods. The US agreed to drop its opposition to China joining the World Trade Organization.
